How was the application and admission process in TMU?

 In my opinion, the application and admission process was simple. The flow was clear and straightforward. Whether or not it is easy may depend on your preparation. I communicated with my professor before applying.

How was your experience adjusting to life as a foreign student in Japan?

Since I come from a tropical country, winter is interesting and challenging for me. Thankfully, my lab mates and sensei are very helpful and supportive.

How was your experience doing research as part of your laboratory?

 I didn't have any difficulty performing my experiments. All the necessary equipment and materials were available. The experimental results are another story.

What challenges did you face as a student and how were you able to cope with them?

Studying abroad can be lonely. In my case, I tried engaging with the community to maintain my sanity and well-being. This can mean connecting with people from my country and, of course, making friends with Japanese students. Moreover, as a Muslim, finding halal food can be challenging. Luckily, many Muslim-friendly restaurants and shops selling halal food are opening nowadays. Apps such as "Halal Japan" can also help you determine if food is halal.

Would you recommend prospective students to do their graduate program in TMU?

I would definitely recommend studying at TMU to anyone who asks me about it.
